13 Dec 2008 @ 05:55 Thanks (again) to ConfederalSocialist for the heads up on this work by Lloyd deMause of The Institute for Psychohistory. Very interesting perspective, IMO. Here's the first, intro video CS did introducing the psychohistory perspective: Now, I would like a more in-depth treatment of the "helping" mode humanity is supposedly now moving into and I wonder what psychogenic mode might possibly come after this "helping" mode? Any thoughts??

My thoughts are that it will become... a love offreedom for quite a long while many will bask in this new found freedom...we have psychological vortexes/imprints from teachings though...religion/schools...books...that also add to our strong desire for freedom /historically imprinted...so if it becomes the freedom age...it should last for a very long time. Then freedom for those childrens children will not perseve it as freedom persay it will just be a way of life. This was very interesting but having lived a lot of it I see it as being right on track...great work...opens minds to a better understanding..so nesssasary for the horrifying imprints that are left from a none understanding.
